The Century 30-Series LCG Industrial Carrier is hands down the best tool for the job when it comes to equipment rental deliveries.

We worked with a local equipment rental company to configure this heavy-duty rollback for them to handle their growing equipment rental delivery needs. The LCG is the perfect platform to start with. LCG stands for Low Center of Gravity, and boasts the lowest bed height in the market for heavy-duty rollbacks of this capacity. The 30-Series deck has a 30,000 lb. working deck load capacity, and sits 6-8″ lower than conventional heavy-duty carriers. This unit is configured with a 29′ bed, but the LCG is available in bed lengths from 26-30′.

This customer regularly delivers equipment to inner-city construction sites where emergency lighting is key. To help this truck be seen, we outfitted it with strobe lights in the grille and on the tail light housings, and installed a 61″ Federal Signal Allegiant light bar. Our exclusive TowHunter flasher kit controls the body lights. Mounted on the driver’s side is a Miller Industries cone holder to allow quick deployment of cones to mark out the loading area.

Parking downtown can be tight, so when the operator is delivering or picking up equipment, he’s often driving the equipment to the truck and has very little time or space to operate the bed. We installed a 8-function LODAR wireless remote to allow the operator to tilt the bed as he drives the rental unit to the truck, saving valuable time and reducing the risk of a driver standing roadside.

Other highlights include 65″ and 49″ OEM Aluminum toolboxes, Maxxima work lights, air shift free spool, Steel cab protector with lockable chain storage racks, yellow anti-skid paint, backup camera, and dual trailer plug.

The Peterbilt 389 chassis is as classy as it gets. This particular unit features an Eaton Autoshift transmission and Cummins motor.

Century 30-Series LCG Industrial Carrier:

Miller Industries has introduced a new LCG™ (Low Center of Gravity) Industrial Carrier. The LCG™ carrier is available in deck lengths from 26’ – 30’ with deck capacities of 30,000 lb or 40,000 lb.

The carrier uses a revolutionary new patent pending subframe design that allows the carrier deck to sit 6” to 8” lower than conventional industrial carriers. The low deck height allows for the transport of many loads that would be over height on a traditional industrial carrier and would need to be hauled on a trailer. Additionally the LCG™ Carrier is more stable against sway and rollover with heavier loads and provides a load angle as low as 11° making it ideal to load equipment and machinery. The operator is able to secure most loads from the ground without the need to climb up on the deck.
